This is a great example of science in action! Once you plan the course, you can experiment with many different ramps, track pieces, and chutes! Test it out and see where it leads! I will personally say that I purchased this when my son was only about 3 or 4. The colors are bold and it allowed him to recognize colors and how to put pieces together - even at an early age! - Just another thing to take into consideration if you feel that the child you are interested in purchasing for is too young.
